Metrel's MD 9010 is a portable, lightweight basic digital multimeter that is designed to carry out a selection of essential electrical procedures despite the unit being so small.
The MD 9010 can be used to carry out DC/AC voltage testing, DC and AC current measurements, diode testing, resistance measurements, continuity testing, frequency measurements and capacitance measurements. It also comes with non-contact detection of electromagnetic fields, so it can be used to detect the presence of voltage in various different electrical systems.
All tests are carried out with high accuracy and the device includes a large LCD screen for relaying back obtained test results.
