The Metrel A1632 eMobility Analyser can be used with compatible Metrel installation testers to troubleshoot as well as verify the functionality and safety of Electrical Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and EV charging cables. To this end, it includes accessible inputs and outputs for the connection of safety testers and is also capable of communicating with these instruments via Bluetooth.
It can be used to check the electrical safety and functionality of Type 1 and/or Type 2 EVSE, as well as Mode 2 (with installed IC-CPD protection) and Mode 3 electrical vehicle charging cables. The Metrel A1632 eMobility Analyser is also suitable for monitoring the communication between the charging station and electric vehicle during charging.
To this end, the Metrel A1632 eMobility Analyser features the following testing capabilities:
- Simulation of an electric vehicle’s CP and PP circuits to check the functionality of EVSE and Mode 2 EV charging cables
- Simulation of errors on CP circuits (output side) for diagnostic testing of EVSE
- Recreation of errors on CP circuits (output side) and mains (input side) for diagnostic testing of Mode 2 EV charging cables
In addition to this, the Metrel A1632 eMobility Analyser supports professional station-based and cable-based report creation using Metrel’s MESM Software (NOT included).
The Metrel A1632 eMobility Analyser is a special accessory designed for the safety, functionality and diagnostic testing of EVSE and EV charging cables.
