The Megger VF-T5 is a dual-function tester built for fast, safe diagnostics. It detects voltage without direct contact. A built-in sensor at the tip activates when near live conductors, outlets, or power cords, instantly lighting up and sounding an alert when voltage is present.
When voltage is detected, the tip glows red, and a loud beeper provides an unmistakable warning. For quiet environments or low-noise zones, the sound alert can be disabled while still maintaining visual feedback. The tester can identify dual AC voltages from 12 V to 1000 V and 100 V to 1000 V.
The VF-T5 has a built-in laser infrared thermometer, which lets users measure surface temperatures alongside voltage detection. The digital LCD provides accurate readings ranging from -30°C to +280°C (-22°F to +536°F).
