This digital calibration meter is designed for use with Megger's OTS 60AF, 80AF, 100AF and OTS 60/80PB oil test sets in order to ensure that accurate testing results are maintained over a time period.
It evaluates the high voltage output to a set of national standards, ensuring correct operation of the oil tester. It is designed to fit directly into the oil testing chamber instead of a vessel and simulates the effects of a normal test (dielectric strength). The Megger VCM100D 100kV Digital Calibration Meter will ramp up from 0 kV to the oil tester's maximum test voltage, pausing at 10 kV intervals for ten seconds in order to verify that output voltage. The Megger VCM100 100kV Digital Voltage Checker has a range of 0 to 100 kV.
An indication of detected voltage is shown on the digital display. Furthermore, this instrument can also indicate pass tolerance bands.
Compatible OTS models are designed with test sequences made for use with this meter. The Megger VCM100 100kV Digital Voltage Checker is a useful addition to compatible oil test sets as it can be used to preserve the accuracy and reliability of these meters.
