Detect malfunctions in low voltage grids early using the Megger NIM 1000 Network Impedance Meter. Equipped with a 1kA test current, the Megger NIM 1000 Network Impedance Meter triggers load-sensitive and neutral faults, finds weak contacts, and exposes hidden flaws. It can be used to assess the grid’s current capacity under real-life conditions and conduct tests on cables, power supply lines, and bus bars.
Capable of measuring the impedance of phases and neutral conductors up to the 10th harmonic, the Megger NIM 1000 Network Impedance Meter can be used to assess how LV grids perform under load. Multi-phase measurement allows the impedance of neutral conductors to be calculated (depending on the grounding conditions of the grid) enabling you to identify faults that could lead to severe safety issues. When conducting multi-phase measurements, the Megger NIM 1000 Network Impedance Meter automatically switches between measurement points making the meter easy to operate.
Its ergonomic design, compact size, and bright colour display also ensure that the Megger NIM 1000 Network Impedance Meter is simple to use especially in demanding LV utility environments.
The Megger NIM 1000 Network Impedance Meter is an accurate, versatile, and practical instrument that can be used to determine the correct dimensioning of installations, ensure consistently good power quality, and prevent downtime.
