Evaluate the moisture content of a wide variety of oil samples with the Megger KF-LAB MkII.
Optimised with coulometric Karl Fischer titrimetry, the KF-LAB MkII can be used to perform titration on samples with specific gravities from 0.60 to 1.40 and is compatible with oil samples of different sizes. A dedicated function is also included for analysising insulating oils with an SG of 0.875 (ideal for measuring water content in a wide variety of different materials, including transformer insulating oils).
This oil tester uses Megger's advanced ACE (automatically compensated error) system to filter out inaccuracies that may be caused by changes in electrolysis cell resistance, ensuring that every test is as accurate as possible. All measurements are carried out to the industry standard Karl Fischer coulometric titrimetry in accordance with ASTM D1533, BS EN 60814: 1998 and IEC60814: 1997.
Suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor conditions, the KF-LAB MkII is suitable for being powered from mains, via an internal rechargeable battery or via a 12V car adapter.
