Megger's MIT2500 is an industrial-grade handheld high voltage insulation tester suitable for testing insulation resistance up to 200GΩ.
The MIT2500 includes fixed voltage ranges of 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V (1kV) and 2500V (2.5kV) and also includes a variable range which allows the user to 'dial in' a variable voltage between the full range of 50 to 2500V. A voltage feedback control is used to maintain the output test voltage to within 2% of the selected range, even when tests are currently ongoing.
This high voltage insulation tester is highly recommended for use in electrical and industrial applications such as single and three phase rotating machnery, single and multi-core cable testing or for the testing of motors. It's also ideally suited for any CAT IV 600V application.
New Model, New Features
This model is an upgraded, newer version of Megger's older insulation testers. It's packed with new, improved features, including:
- Wider Range of Insulation Test Voltages - choose between a range from 50 to 2500V
- Guard Terminal - high resistance accuracy with improved performance on higher insulation test ranges

The Megger MIT2500 is a datalogging insulation resistance tester - it gives you the ability to store your readings in built-in memory storage, ready for further analysis.
Files are stored in Excel format for easy transfer to PC with Bluetooth wireless connection to make transferring results as simple and seamless as possible.
