Megger EZ-THUMP-4 Portable Fault Location System - 4kV, 15ft Test Lead
This version of the Megger EZ-THUMP-4 comes with a 15ft test lead. An alternative version with a 50ft test lead is also available.
Megger's EZ-THUMP-4 is a compact, lightweight, battery/AC line operated portable cable fault location system.
Suitable for a wide variety of different HV work, the EZ-THUMP-4 can be used to test the dielectric strength of cable (and breakdown voltage), perform fault pre-location, identify/indicated the location of transformers on a loop/radial system and can accurately pinpoint the location of faults.
Suitable for both beginner and advanced users, the EZ-THUMP-4 includes both quick-step and expert modes which will either guide the user through common functions or allow more control over test conditions. It also includes a number of additional features such as an automatic fault locating procedure, automatic end-of cable/fault detection and DC testing up to 4kV.
