Small, lightweight, and rugged, the Megger EasyTest 20kV Cable Tester provides an alternating (AC) voltage and a maximum output of 20kV, 0.1Hz AC at 0.5µF, and up to 2.5µF at 0.02Hz. It can be used to test cables that are up to 2km in length.
To enable testing of PVC and PILC cables, the Megger EasyTest 20kV Cable Tester includes a DC voltage module with leakage current measurement. It also features a Sheath Testing function and pulsed output voltage for sheath fault pinpointing.
Furthermore, an OPTIONAL Logging function means data can be saved to a USB memory stick. Additionally, using a Winkis/ chip card (sold separately), test parameters can be configured via a PC. When the chip card is inserted, the test parameters are loaded onto the Megger EasyTest 20kV Cable Tester and, once tests have been carried out, the results are saved to the chip card.
