The Megger DLRO10HD Digital Low-Resistance Ohmmeter is a durable, reliable product capable of performing Ducter tests; that is measuring low resistance in a wide variety of systems, machines, and components, such as railways, aircraft, and industrial resistance components.

The Megger DLRO10HD Digital Low-Resistance Ohmmeter is designed to be easy-to-use as well as versatile. It has new interchangeable test lead terminations and features five test modes, including:

• Auto Start On Connection mode: starts the test as soon as the probes make contact with the item under investigation. Each time the probes are disconnected and then reconnected the ohmmeter will perform a new test automatically. This mode is ideal when working with handspikes and works by measuring forward and reverse currents and displaying the resultant average value.
• Normal mode: the object under investigation is connected to the ohmmeter via the four test lead connections, then, when this mode is selected, a two-directional (reverse and forward) current will be issued after which a measurement value is displayed, thereby checking the continuity of all four connections.
•  Automatic Unidirectional mode: issues a current in a single direction, enabling the user to take quicker measurements.
• Continuous mode: enables repeat measurements to be taken for the same sample; these measurements are updated every three seconds until the circuit is broken.
• Inductive mode: ideal for testing motors and generators; this mode will continue to pass a single-direction current through the product being tested, taking repeat readings which will decrease as the voltage of the product stabilises. When the user has determined that the voltage is stable he/she need simply press the TEST button to terminate the test.

These modes are all selectable via the rotary switch and allow the user to tailor this resistance meter to his/her requirements. Each test lasts up to sixty seconds and the DLRO10HD is capable of applying 10 A into measurements up to 250mΩ and 1 A into measurements of up to 2.5Ω, thereby reducing cooling time and making inductance charging more efficient. The Megger DLRO10HD Digital Low-Resistance Ohmmeter can also issue a low or high output power, allowing the user to perform condition diagnosis.

The Megger DLRO10HD Digital Low-Resistance Ohmmeter is accurate, versatile and simple-to-use; its rotary switches can be operated in all weathers and with gloves, whilst its large, backlit, LCD display with contrast adjustment ensures that values can be easily read in all conditions and environments. Furthermore this product’s ability to be connected with a line power supply, which will ensure that it remains operational even if the rechargeable battery is flat, further extends this ohmmeter’s practicality.

In addition to this, the Megger DLRO10HD Digital Low-Resistance Ohmmeter is highly resilient. The Megger DLRO10HD can withstand 600V without blowing a fuse and has a live test lead warning light. It is supplied with a robust case featuring a shoulder strap and lead set pouch. When enclosed in this case the ohmmeter has an IP rating of 65, meaning it is resistant to low-pressure water jets and is dust tight.
