Description

Megger's DET4TD2 is an enhanced earth loop tester that is capable of perform 2, 3 and 4 point testing with selectable 25V or 50V output.

Suitable for use both indoors and outdoors thanks to IP54 rating (protection from dust and water jets) the Megger DET4TD2 is easy to connect up, and tests are easily chosen and initiated by use of the large rotary dial and test button. There's also a button built into the front of the instrument for switching between 25 and 50V modes.

This earth tester will also automatically evaluate and display the connection and condition of any connected P and C spikes, showcasing the results on the built-in LCD screen. You can also use the DET4TD2 to get an accurate measurement of ground voltage thanks to a built in voltmeter, and this instrument is also able to measure earth voltages up 100V, as well as resistance measurements from 0.01Ω to 20kΩ (with resistance accuracy of 2%±3 digits).

The Megger DET4TD2 is a non-rechargeable instrument and runs on 8 x AA batteries. Its sister tester, the DET4TR2, is rechargeable.

This product complies with the requirements of IEC61010-1 100V CAT IV between terminal pairs, provided a leadset with this rating is used. The DET4TD2 is also in compliance with KEMA K85B and EN61557 "Electrical safety in low voltage distribution systems up to 1000V a.c and 1500V d.c - Equipment for testing measuring or monitoring of protective measures".
