Megger DET4TCR2 Earth Tester + Clamps

This bundle package comes with Megger's DET4TCR2 Earth Tester as well as additional accessories such as two bundled clamps that allow the DET4TCR2 to perform ART and stakeless testing procedures.

The DET4TCR2 is basically an upgraded version of the DET4TC2 that is fully rechargeable. This means that you don't have to constantly worry about switching out your batteries if you're performing regular earth testing procedures, and a simple charge can last for several hours of testing.

Megger's DET4TCR2 is fully suitable for outdoor use thanks to a special IP54 rated enclosure that protects the device from water and dust damage. It also features an incredibly easy to use interface with rotary dial for switching between test procedures such as 2 pole, 3 pole, 4 pole, ART, stakeless, leakage current and ground noise voltage measurements, a frequency selection button for choosing between 94, 105, 111 and 128Hz, output voltage button for switching between voltages of 25 and 50V and a button to switch the backlight of the LCD display on and off. Once you've set everything up you can then initate the test procedure by pressing the TEST button. All the buttons and rotary dial are large enough to be easily used even when you're wearing a large pair of gloves for extra protection.

The two bundled clamps that come with this package - the ICLAMP and VCLAMP - allow the DET4TCR2 to perform Advanced Rod Technique and true stakeless testing. When using the ICLAMP you can perform electrode testing without the need to disconnect and it can also generate leakage current measurements down to 1mA. The VCLAMP is ideally suited for applications where driving stakes into the earth isn't practical.

This device can even generate results in electrically noisy environments thanks to noise evaluation and 40V peak to peak rejection.
