Megger DET4TC2 Earth Tester + Clamps
This bundle package includes a Megger DET4TC2 Earth Tester as well as additional accessories that allow this device to perform ART testing and stakeless testing.
ART (Attached Rod Technique) testing is performed using the included ICLAMP device. When attached to the DET4TC2 this device can clamp around an application to perform electrode testing without the need of a disconnect, and can also be used to perform leakage current measurements down to 1mA.
If you're in a situation where the use of driving stakes isn't possible, true stakeless testing can be achieved using the bundled VCLAMP accessory and the Megger DET4TC2.
This earth tester is also fully suitable for use outdoors thanks to a robust case and weatherproofing built-in. This means that no matter where you are you can accurately perform 2 pole, 3 pole and 4 pole testing as well as ART, stakeless, leakage current and ground noise voltage measurements.
The interface of the DET4TC2 is also incredibly simple. To operate, first use the rotary dial to select which test type you need. You can then use the additional buttons to initiate the test, adjust the frequency (between 94, 105, 111 and 128Hz) and to adjust the overall output voltage between 50 and 25V.
The Megger DET4TC2 runs on 8 x AA batteries. It is non-rechargeable, but its sister product, the DET4TCR2, is.
This device conforms to the requirements of IEC61010-1 100V CAT IV between terminal pairs.
