The AVO840 multimeter has a 6000-count display, CAT III 1000 V / CAT IV 600 V safety ratings, and Bluetooth connectivity for integration with the free Megger AVO Link app. Compatible with Android and iOS devices. The app allows real-time measurement sharing and remote monitoring.
The AVO840 delivers various measurement capabilities, including AC/DC voltage (600 mV to 1000 V), AC/DC (600 µA to 10 A), resistance, continuity, diode testing, and a 6000 µF capacitance range. The Low-Z mode reduces the risk of false readings caused by ghost voltages. It measures frequency up to 10 MHz and includes an analogue bar graph.
The battery life lasts up to 150 hours with the backlight and torch turned off. The AVO840 has an IP44 enclosure, backlit display, AC+DC measurements, a continuity function with audio and visual indicators, withstands a 2-metre drop and is tested to resist voltage spikes of up to 8.1 kV, protecting against arc flash hazards.
