The Megger MSL10 locates the edges of wooden studs, metal joists or live AC cables through drywall or other common building materials. It also indicates the presence of live AC cables. It's easy to use and has three depth ranges available, the sensitivity of the unit can be amended to establish accurate indication.
The centre of studs or joists can be located by scanning from either side to locate each edge. The MSL10 provides LED and audible alerts when identifying an issue. A protective carry case is supplied to store and transport the instrument, it also safeguards the wall contact pads and avoids marking or damage to the surface being scanned.
