The Martindale SPL82 Data Logging Sound Level Meter is a Class 2 sound level meter that can be used to measure and log sound readings between 30 and 130dB. It is able to record up to 64000 results. These features make it ideal for maintaining compliance with noise and work legislation pertaining to industrial and office environments.
This instrument also has a frequency range of 20Hz to 8KHz and can perform A and C frequency weighting. It is also capable of fast and slow time averaging and can ascertain the minimum and maximum values detected.
Further to this, the Martindale SPL82 Data Logging Sound Level Meter can be connected to external recording devices via the AC and DC outputs. It can also be connected to the user’s PC via the included micro-USB cable and is supplied with PC software for the downloading of results.
When conducting measurements over an extended period of time, the Martindale SPL82 Data Logging Sound Level Meter may be placed on a tripod mount and may be powered using an external source. Conversely, this instrument also includes an Auto Power Off function which will switch the sound meter off after long periods of inactivity, thereby preserving the meter's battery life.
This BS EN 61672-1 compliant meter is supplied with a storage case and windscreen. The Martindale SPL82 Data Logging Sound Level Meter is ideal for measuring noise levels over extended periods of time in offices and industrial environments.
