Suitable for offices, industrial environments and other on-site applications, use Martindale's SP79 for simple measurements of sound in accordance with the Noise at Work regulations.

A type 2 sound meter, the Martindale SP79 features A and C frequency weighting (A replicates the noise a human ear can hear, C is used for measurements of peak sound pressure levels) and fast/slow time weighting. It can be used for single, quick measurements of sound or you can mount the SP79 on a tripod (sold separately) and activate the MIN/MAX mode to calculate the maximum/minimum values taken over a period of time.

The SP79 can measure sound levels from 32 to 130dB and has frequency range from 20Hz to 8kHz. A 1/2 inch electret condenser microphone is built into the top of the instrument and a removeable windshield is included as standard.
