The Martindale MARLTDV Extension Lead Tester is a practical and adaptable piece of equipment designed to work with all models of PAT testers and extension leads. It is suitable for applied test voltages of 110V +/- 10% and 240V +/- 10%, as well as between 50 and 60Hz. This piece of Martindale test equipment can also be used to check safety earth, and can check phase and neutral conductors for their polarity.
The Martindale MARLTDV Extension Lead Tester is a very simple unit that requires minimal input from the operator. The input port is located at the top of the device, and on the front of the body are two lamps. The lamps light up in different patters to indicate the quality of and problems within the extension lead, and there is an easy to understand key located on the front of the box to help you determine what the patterns of the lamps mean.
This Martindale tester is made from ABS, meaning it is flame-retardant and very safe to use. The tester will function in up to 80% humidity, but will function best in drier environments.
