This upgraded version of the Martindale ET4 expands upon the general functions of the ET4 and adds additional functions exclusive to this model.
Like the ET4, the Martindale ET5 is a multifunctional testing instrument that can be used to measure AC/DC voltage, resistance, AC/DC current, frequency, continuity and diode. It also includes a built-in non-contact voltage detector which can be used to quickly indicate the presence of voltage.
In addition to these functions the Martindale ET5 can also be used to carry out measurements of capacitance, duty cycle and temperature (requires the use of a thermocouple, which is included). When measuring temperature, this device can calculate results from -35 up to 500°C.
Autoranging, display hold and auto power off functions are also included.
