Martindale's EasyPAT 1600 PAT Tester is an entry-level, simple-to-use PAT tester suitable for testing all electrical appliances and associated leads.
The EasyPAT 1600 is one of the only basic PAT testers available with the ability to test both 240V and 110V appliances directly without any need to use adapters. The product's body includes a standard 3-pin mains plug socket for connection to a standard appliance, a built-in 110V socket for connection to 110V equipment and also includes a separate IEC socket for connection to IEC power leads and extension cords.
Need to test IT equipment? The Martindale EasyPAT 1600's selectable low current 200mA soft earth bond test makes this tester fully suitable for safely testing IT appliances. It also comes with 25A and 8A high current bond testing mode, insulation testing at 500V and performs simple fuse tests.
Martindale's EasyPAT 1600 is protected from harm during transportation thanks to being actually built inside its own carrying case. Just take to a power point, test your appliances, then shut the lid and carry to your next testing point with the built-in carrying handle.
It's worth noting that the Martindale EasyPAT 1600 is a mains-powered unit; you'll need access to a standard mains plug to power the tester.
As well as this manufacturer supplied bundle package we also stock a selection of PAT testing bundles that come with the EasyPAT 1600 and various accessory packs designed to be used with the tester.
You can use the comparison chart below to quickly tell the difference between each of the variations available:

You'll need these every time an appliance passes a test - just tear one off, fill in the fields (appliance ID, your name, test date and next test due date) and stick on the appliance when done. |
√ | √ |
These circular-shaped PAT labels are great for plug tops and any other appliance. The labels also include space for ticking the month/year the next test is due. |
√ | √ |
These passed labels wrap around a wire/cable from an appliance and are recommended for use with power supplies or on appliances where you can't stick a label. They also include space for writing your appliance ID, name, test date and next test date. |
√ | √ |
You won't need these as often as your passed labels, but you'll need to apply one of these whenever an appliance fails a test. If it does fail, the item should be taken out of service for repair or replacement |
