• Incorrect polarity is indicated by red LEDs and a pulse-tone buzzer

After ten minutes of inactivity, the Martindale BZ701 Audible Socket Tester will enter standby mode. When in standby, the centre LED will flash amber and a tone will sound every five seconds.
