The Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester – PAT Professional Kit (Bundle 2) consists of the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester (supplied with standard manufacturer’s accessories) and an array of additional PAT testing accessories, such as fuses, labels, logbook and the SimplyPats Manual PAT Testing Software. The Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester has the following testing capabilities:

• 200mA continuity
• 1-second quick check continuity test
• 5-second continuity test
• 250V DC insulation test
• 500V DC insulation test
• Substitute leakage test
• Polarity check
• Extension lead test

It is suitable for performing manual dead tests on extension leads, as well as Class I and Class II appliances without electronic on/off switches. To this end it includes pre-programmed automatic test sequences for extension leads and Class I and Class II appliances which can be run via pressing clearly labelled function buttons.

Other functions present on this entry-level model include a Test Lead Null setting, which eliminates test lead resistance thereby ensuring that tests are conducted accurately, and an Appliance Pre-Check feature. The latter feature allows the user to ascertain whether the appliance-under-investigation is powered on or off prior to commencing any tests, protecting both the user and the instrument from damage.

Further to this, the inclusion of a low current continuity test and 250V insulation test ensures that the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester is IT safe, expanding its scope-for-use.

The Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester is battery powered and can perform approximately 1400 tests over the course of a battery life cycle. Results of these tests are indicated on the tester’s large, backlit display. The Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester’s backlight will change to green when a test has been passed and will change to red if it has been failed. This colour change along with a written PASS or FAIL indication, and a numerical value, add to the ease-of-use of this tester.

Furthermore, it can be easily adapted using the supplied Kewtech accessories to suit the test environments and/or to facilitate the operator’s testing requirements. The Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester is supplied with an extension lead adapter and an earth continuity test lead with a probe and crocodile clip.
