Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester - Kit 1 

This PAT Essentials Kit (Kit 1) consists of Kewtech’s EZYPAT PAT Tester (supplied with the manufacturer’s accessories as standard) and an array of useful, additional PAT testing accessories.

The EZYPAT is a battery operated PAT tester optimised for performing manual dead tests on Class I and Class II appliances without electronic on/off switches, as well as extension leads.

The Kewtech PAT Tester also features safety checks such as an appliance status pre-check which allows the user to ascertain whether the appliance under investigation is powered on or off prior to commencing the necessary PAT testing routine. PAT testing sequences relevant to Class I and Class II, as well as extension leads are pre-programmed into the EZYPAT and can be accessed and run via the clearly labelled function buttons.

Further to this, the tester’s ability to perform 250V DC insulation tests and low current earth continuity tests ensure that it is IT safe, adding to its scope-for-use.

Another useful feature is its Test Lead Null setting which can be engaged to ensure that the results of insulation tests are not affected by the resistance of test leads and are therefore more accurate.

PASS or FAIL results are indicated via the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester’s large, backlit display which turns green when a test has been passed, and red when one has been failed. Also adding to this instrument’s ease-of-use is its ergonomic, lightweight and adaptable design. It is supplied with an array of standard manufacturer’s accessories which allow the user to adapt the instrument to conduct an array of tests in a variety of environments. Included with the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester is an extension lead adapter, an earth continuity test lead with a probe and a crocodile clip.

Finally, the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester can perform up to 1400 tests before it will become necessary to replace the batteries. This entry-level model in Kewtech’s EZYPAT/SMARTPAT range is a versatile, efficient and convenient tester that is ideal for conducting manual dead tests on Class I and Class II appliances without electronic on/off switches, as well as extension leads.
