With Kern's ORA-S series, you'll be able to (depending on model purchased) measure salinity, specific gravity, salt (NaCi) and brix values using a sample of the substance you want to test. Kern's different scales and comfortable eyepieces make getting a measurement as simple as possible with reliable results every time the refractometer is used.

If you're working in catering of a restaurant, Kern's ORA-S refractometers can be used for creating specific sauces with correct salt content, creating the correct base for pastry, producing brines, seafood preparation and even marindaes for meat.

Three models in the series (ORA 1SA, ORA 2SA and ORA 3SA) come with automatic temperature compensation and will maintain their accuracy in different ambient temperature conditions.
