Kern's highest specification polarising microscope, this product is a must-have for all professional laboratories.
Similar to the Kern OPN series, the OPO improves upon the functionality of the OPN models by including a dual lighting system with both reflective and transmitting light sources available for a truly comprehensive view of samples during studies.
As standard this model is supplied with five non-stress Infinity Plan objectives with magnification at 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x and 60x. Other additional objectives, including versions for use at long working distances, are also available for purchase as optional extras (sold separately - please call for orders).
Kern OPO microscopes are fitted with binocular eyepieces and come with λ slip, Bertrand lens and quartz wedge. A full 3 year warranty is also included from Kern.
The following table outlines the difference between both of the models in the OPO-1 series.
√ = included as standard
O = optional extra - please call for further information
Note: several items within this table can be bought by themselves. Please call us for more information (quoting the part number outlined below)
