The Kern MPS 200K100PM Personal Floor Scale can be used when medically diagnosing patients.

This scale comes equipped with a stand (a model without the stand is available here) and OPTIONAL class III verification. It is approved as a medical device according to 93/42/EEC and includes features optimised for medical settings. Its Hold function determines an average weight over the period the patient is being measured. It freezes this value long enough for the medical professional and/or carer to attend to the patient, and then record the value. This feature is particularly useful when weighing patients who may struggle to remain still or balance for significant periods of time.

In addition to this, the Kern MPS 200K100PM Personal Floor Scale includes a BMI function allowing the user to quickly determine whether an individual is of a normal weight; is underweight; or overweight.

Moreover, the Kern MPS 200K100PM Personal Floor Scale’s design has been optimised for clear reading and ease of operation. Its high-contrast LCD display ensures the determined measurement is clearly visible, whilst its numerical keypad makes it easy to enter height values in order to assist the above function with determining a patient’s BMI.
