Unlike its sister product, the Kern MPB 300K 100 Personal Floor Scale, this product is equipped with a stand for the digital display, ensuring that it is easily viewable to the patient and medical professional at all times.

The display unit features four keys which allow the user to operate the scale easily. Via the display unit, the user can engage the Hold or BMI functions.

The Kern MPB 300K 100P Personal Floor Scale with Stand’s BMI option calculates whether the patient is underweight, overweight or of a ‘normal’ weight. 

The Hold function ensures that the medical professional is able to take the weight of the patient without compromising his/ her safety. This function is particularly useful when attending to unsteady patients. The Hold function will determine an average weight, which is held on the display, allowing the medical professional to attend to the patient before recording the value.
