Kern HCD High-Resolution Crane Scales – Choice of Model

The Kern HCD High-Resolution Crane Scales are handing scales optimised for weighing low to medium loads. These crane scales are available in single-range and dual-range models; they also differ in regards to their maximum weighing capacities which range from 60kg to 300kg. The Kern HCD High-Resolution Crane Scales are suitable for use in a variety of locations such as production sites, warehouses and dispatch departments. To this end, the Kern HCD High-Resolution Hanging Scales feature a TÜV-certified construction which meets the requirements of the EN 13155 (non-fixed load lifting attachments/ breakage resistance) and EN 61010-1 (electrical safety) standards. As these hanging scales are TÜV tested, they provide an extra level of safety.

The Kern HCD High-Resolution Crane Scales are also equipped with a revolving hook and safety catch made of nickel-plated steel. Their compact, lightweight construction and battery operation makes the Kern HCD High-Resolution Crane Scales easy to transport and adds to their suitability for use in a variety of locations. These scales also feature an LED to indicate the charge status of the battery.  

Furthermore, the Kern HCD High-Resolution Hanging Scales can be operated and read at a distance due to the inclusion of an infrared remote control (range: 20m) and a large, high-contrast, LCD display.  

Measurements that have remained unchanged are automatically frozen to the display until the Hold button is pressed. Additionally, the Kern HCD High-Resolution Crane Scales’ Standby function will automatically switch off the scales after five minutes without a change of load; it can be automatically restarted at the touch of a button.

The Kern HCD High-Resolution Crane Scales are also equipped with a Tare function for zeroing the scale once a load/ tare container has been added. In addition to this, the Kern HCD High-Resolution Crane Scales features selectable measurement units allowing the user to tailor the hanging scales to his/her preferences and/or to suit the application.
