The user can check which weighing capacity is in use at the push of a button, for example, net or gross weight. The Kern FOB Stainless Steel Bench Scales are particularly useful for portioning, dosing and grading applications. Their Checkweighing function indicates, via changing the colour of the large, backlit LCD display (digit height 25mm), whether the sample is too light, too heavy or just right.
This, combined with the Kern FOB Stainless Steel Bench Scales’ HACCP compliance and humidity resistance, makes them suitable for use in the food industry. The Kern FOB Stainless Steel Bench Scales have an IP67 rating, as well as waterproof silicone sealing around their load cell, electronics and soldering joints, protecting them against dust and moisture ingress.
Both the housing and weighing plates are constructed from stainless steel. The Kern FOB Stainless Steel Bench Scales’ smooth surfaces ensure that they are easy to clean, again making them suitable for use in the food industry as well as in laboratories.
Moreover, the compact, lightweight construction of these balances, combined with their battery operation, means that they can be easily transported between and across worksites, whilst their secure, non-slip rubber feet ensure that the Kern FOB Stainless Steel Bench Scales are kept steady throughout weighing applications.
