The Kern BIC High-Resolution, Dual-Range Floor Scales are available in six models that vary in regards to their measurement ranges. These scales are optimised for heavy-duty applications in a variety of challenging environments; to this end, they have been constructed from anti-slip, corrugated steel; four silicone-coated steel load cells, and are covered in a dust- and water-resistant, IP67 spray. This combined with their large weighing surfaces makes the Kern BIC High-Resolution, Dual-Range Floor Scales ideal for weighing larger loads in factories and warehouses.

The design of these instruments also allows the user to level the weighing bridge and access the junction box from above.

Adding to these instruments’ ergonomic and practical design is their simple, four-key operation via the display unit. Using these keys the operator can easily change between measurement units allowing him/her to tailor the Kern BIC High-Resolution, Dual-Range Floor Scales to his/her preferences.

Measurements are indicated via the removable, large, LCD display with a digit height of 25mm. The sophisticated plug-in connector facilitates the user’s ability to separate the display unit from the balance, making it easier for the user to install the Kern BIC High-Resolution, Dual-Range Floor Scales in a packing and dispatch bench or a pit frame. Moreover, these instruments are supplied with a wall mount as standard, allowing the user to attach the display unit to the wall. Again these features add to the adaptability of the Kern BIC High-Resolution, Dual-Range Floor Scales.

Finally, these scales can be operated using a mains supply or 4x 1.5V AA batteries (NOT included), ensuring that they can be adapted to suit the application.
