Tests & Capabilities

The Kane AQA Indoor Air Quality Analyser’s exact measurement and testing capabilities depend on the number and type of sensors fitted. Depending on the sensor configuration, the Kane AQA Indoor Air Quality Analyser can test type C sealed appliances, type B boiler open flue, and type A cookers and space/water heaters; it can also support the following:

  • Measure up to four gases simultaneously
  • Differential pressure: -80 to +80mBar
  • CO and CO2 safety tests
  • Gas appliance integrity tests: tightness, let by, and appliance sweep test
  • Flueless gas appliance and space/water heater tests
  • Room migration timed test for CO and CO2 with ambient CO2
  • Appliance timed sweep test for CO and CO2 with ambient CO2 sensor
  • Heat pump differential and return temperature (with optional Kane WPCP2 Clamp Probes)
  • Differential temperature: -20°C to +1350°C (with additional probes)
  • Airflow: 1.1 to 20m/s (with KANE-DTHA2)
  • Temperature: -20°C to +50°C (with KANE-DTHA2)
  • Relative Humidity: 0.1-99% (with KANE-DTHA2)
  • Room CO: 0-999ppm (with optional Kane 79 CO Monitor – conduct fast track UK CMDDA1 CO investigations by measuring four rooms simultaneously with four Kane 79 CO Monitors)

Depending on the Kane AQA Indoor Air Quality Analyser’s sensor configuration, it meets the following standards:

  • EN50543 for ambient CO2 and CO
  • EN50379 for O2, CO, and NO
  • CIS23 and BS8494 for testing commercial catering appliances for UK CP42 certificates

Other Functions

Measurements may be frozen on the Kane AQA Indoor Air Quality Analyser’s screen using the Data Hold function. Readings are logged to the Kane AQA Indoor Air Quality Analyser and may be sent to an optional Kane IRP3 Printer or to the Kane LIVE App via Wi-Fi.

The Kane AQA Indoor Air Quality Analyser is a configurable gas analyser capable of testing an array of environmental parameters.
