The Kane 458S Flue Gas Analyser CPA1 KIT includes a Kane ASP2 Appliance Sampling Probe Kit and can be used to analyse flueless appliances. Additionally, the Kane GLD450 Plus Gas Leak Detector and Kane KAL1 Air/ Liquid Probe can be used to detect combustible gases and liquids at concentrations as low as 50ppm, while the Kane KPCP Pipe Clamp Temperature Probes enable measurement of flow and return temperatures.

The Kane FGA can be used to test domestic gas, oil, biomass and some commercial appliances. They are capable of measuring carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) directly (model dependent), as well as calculating oxygen (O₂), CO: CO₂ ratios, excess air and combustion efficiency. Moreover, the Kane 458S Flue Gas Analysers include a high-accuracy differential pressure meter (+/- 80mbar) and a structured commissioning test for certifying new boilers in accordance with the requirements of the Technical Bulletin 143.

Multiple readings can be viewed on the six-line display; the analysers’ Data Hold function allows readings to be frozen on the screen. Additionally, the Log & Print function can be used with the supplied Kane IRP-2 Infrared Printer to print reports wirelessly. Commission test, CO build-up, temperature, combustion, let-by & tightness and pressure reports can be printed with the user’s details.

The integrated wireless module enables wireless printing; it also facilitates communication between the FGA and Kane’s Gas Checker and Kane Live apps.

Accessing the required measurement parameters and functions is easy using the Flue Gas Analysers’ rotary dial. In addition to ease of use, these ergonomic flue gas analysers have been optimised for longevity and versatility. To this end, they include upgradeable sensor technology, purge pump protection to prevent accidental damage to the CO sensor, and CO and CO₂ sensor protection. Moreover, the Kane 458S' are hydrogen (H₂) ready (up to 20%) and compatible with the following fuel types:
