The tools above are supplied in a blow-moulded, compact case with foam inserts, ensuring that they can be safely and easily transported.

The comprehensive selection tools included in the ITL 00016 Insulated Metering Kit allow electricians to strip, bend or cut wire insulation, cable jackets, and/or sheathing from live armoured cabling; whilst the supplied non-universal and universal shrouds ensure that he/she can carry out work safely.

Further to this, ITL’s tools are insulated using injection moulded Nylon 11, a material often used in demanding applications within high-pressure pipelines, as well as the automotive and aerospace industries. As such these instruments exceed IEC 609000 (including category C) requirements and can be used in extremes of temperature ranging from 70°C/ 158°F down to -40°C/F. ITL thoroughly test their tools to ensure that they meet these standards.
