The HVPD PDS Insight™ 2 Portable On-line PD Detector is a lightweight, simple-to-use handheld partial discharge detector with an LCD. It can be used to test switchgear, cables and transformers reliably and safely and is ideal for applications such as condition-based maintenance and substation access safety.
Accurate, dependable measurements are made possible by the HVPD PDS Insight™ 2 Portable On-line PD Detector’s Phase Resolved Partial Discharge (PRPD) feature which eliminates background noise from true partial discharge sources. The HVPD PDS Insight™ 2 Portable On-line PD Detector is also equipped with a function checker, in-built TEV & AA sensors, an external AA sensor input, and internal data storage. Results can be transferred via Bluetooth to a PC or tablet (NOT included) for analysis, benchmarking and trending using HVPD’s OLPD Manager for Windows Software or OLPD Manager™ App (NOT included).
In addition to this, the HVPD PDS Insight™ 2 Portable On-line PD Detector is compatible with an HFCT sensor and, to this end, features an external HFCT sensor connection. It is supplied with headphones and a docking station.
The HVPD PDS Insight™ 2 Portable On-line PD Detector is an easy-to-use, ergonomic and effective meter that can be used to prevent in-service failures and expensive, unplanned outages.
