Laser Range Finder | ✖ | ✖ | ✔ |
The Hikmicro Falcon FQ50L 2.0 Thermal Monocular is the only model with a built-in laser range finder (LRF). This model is perfect for those who need to determine precise distances to objects and/or targets. This is because the LRF ascertains precise target distances up to 1000m (±1m) and displays this reading alongside horizontal data.
All Falcon 2.0 Monoculars have a thermal resolution of 640 x 512px; a 15mk thermal sensitivity; and a high-performance detector and lens. Consequently, the Falcon 2.0 facilitates clear identification and recognition of animal characteristics despite fog, rain, or total darkness.
The Falcon 2.0’s upgraded Image Pro algorithm enhances details while delivering a layered background with less noise. Meanwhile, the Zoom Pro algorithm maintains details and softens image edges after digital zooming. Together these algorithms deliver a precise portrayal of the scene, empowering you to make informed decisions.
The Hikmicro Falcon 2.0 features six selectable thermal colour palettes allowing you to tailor the monocular to your application or surroundings. These include:
New red and green monochrome palettes reduce screen glare and visual fatigue.
Furthermore, improved Detection and Observation modes can be adjusted for different applications; for instance, they can be set for quick target location or detail recognition.
Hikmicro’s shutterless image system (HSIS) eliminates calibration time. It reads all the pixels within a scene to deliver clearer, more fluid imaging. This, in turn, allows users to remain focused, especially during critical moments.
Offering a larger (0.49-inch), higher resolution (1920 x 1080px) OLED display than its predecessors, the Falcon 2.0 improves the immersive viewing experience. Its full-HD OLED delivers better colour rendering and detail, allowing you to see animals and environments clearly.
Capture thermal images and record infrared footage at the press of a button. Save media to a local album and the SIGHT App.
The Falcon 2.0 is contained in a compact, lightweight (less than 600g), rugged (IP67) magnesium alloy housing that protects the internal components from shocks, drops, moisture, and temperature extremes. The Falcon 2.0 remains functional at temperatures as disparate as -30°C to +55°C.
Adding to the Hikmicro Falcon 2.0’s simplicity of use are its ergonomically positioned buttons and focus wheel, ensuring the monocular can be easily operated by right- and left-handed users with or without gloves. The power button is located on the side of the unit, preventing accidental shutdowns or start-ups.
A cylindrical design compatible with hand straps, neck straps, tripod screws, and monocular pouches ensures the Falcon 2.0 can be conveniently carried.
The Hikmicro Falcon 2.0 Monocular includes a rechargeable, replaceable battery that delivers over six hours of operating time. Its standby and auto-screen-off functions further extend the battery life without compromising operational efficiency. When needed, the Hikmicro Falcon 2.0 will start up within three seconds when needed.
The Hikmicro Falcon 2.0 Thermal Monocular is a high-performance handheld infrared imager optimised for outdoor applications in fields and forests.
