The Hikmicro Eco-Series Handheld Thermal Camera is a rugged infrared imager capable of capturing radiometric thermal images. It is ideal for identifying mechanical and electrical faults. To this end, the Eco offers a 96 x 96px IR detector; fast 25Hz frame rate; and 50° wide-angle lens perfect for finding air infiltration, water leaks, and insulation issues. In addition to an array of colour palettes, the Eco supports SuperIR imaging; includes a laser pointer; and automatically tracks minimum, maximum, and centre temperatures. Housed in a durable (2m drop-tested), IP54-rated casing, the Eco provides a built-in 4GB memory and an 8-hour battery life delivered by an integrated 3350mAh Li-Ion rechargeable battery. An Auto Power-Off function also helps to prolong operating time; this function can be set to activate after five, ten, or twenty minutes of idleness.

Hikmicro Eco Imaging Functions

SuperIR imaging software means the Hikmicro Eco can increase its infrared resolution from 96 x 96px to 240 x 240px. Other useful imaging features include six selectable colour palettes including White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow, Ironbow, Red Hot, and Fusion. The Eco also tracks the maximum, minimum, and centre temperatures automatically. It can measure temperatures between -20°C and +550°C with an accuracy of ±2°C/2%.

Hikmicro Eco-V Advantages

There are two models in the Hikmico Eco Series: the Eco and Eco-V. The Hikmicro Eco-V offers all the same capabilities as the Eco; however, it also includes a 0.3MP digital camera. As such, visual and infrared images may be saved simultaneously to the Hikmicro Eco-V at the touch of a button. Furthermore, engineers can switch between Thermal, Visual, and Fusion imaging modes as required.

Hikmicro Eco-V Fusion Mode

Fusion mode overlays digital details onto a corresponding IR image to create a combined picture offering enhanced clarity.
