HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers – Choice of Ranges

The HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers can be used to measure the AC and DC voltages of conductors between phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase. These instruments are suitable for conducting voltage measurements in metal-enclosed switchgear.

The HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeter can also be used to check if two conductors are in-phase or out-of-phase with each other, can verify that a conductor is de-energised prior to grounding, and may be used to discharge underground cables and other equipment that hold capacitive charges.

In addition to the above applications, when used with an OPTIONAL cable fault tester the user can check whether underground cables are faulty.

There are eleven HD Electric MARK Analogue Dual Stick Voltmeter/ Phaser models available, which differ in regards to their ranges. All of these testers can be used to measure overhead lines and can be adapted to check underground cables via the addition of probes.

Each of the above models is supplied with two overhead brass hook contact probes and a universal spline, which allows the instrument to be mounted onto a hotstick. The HD Electric MARK Analogue Dual Stick Voltmeters are also equipped with a 10kV-rated coil cord which is 3.5’ (1.7m) in length when retracted and 12’ (3.6m) when fully extended. Strain relief fittings are integrated into the end of the cords to reduce cable damage at points of high stress. The HD Electric MARK Analogue Dual Stick Voltmeters can also be purchased with an OPTIONAL reel with a 22’ (6.7m), 15kV-rated straight cord.

Measurements are indicated via the easy-to-read, 3-inch (7.6cm) meter-face with a Lexan protective cover. This display has been specifically designed to be easy-to-read and to increase accuracy; as such, it includes multiple scales to prevent misreads. The HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers have an accuracy of 3% of the full scale.

Also improving the HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers' practicality is their rugged, low-maintenance (no batteries are required for operation) designs, which makes them suitable for fieldwork.
