HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeter/ Phaser Kits – Choice of Range

There are five HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeter/ Phaser Kits available; these vary in regards to the supplied items (see ‘What’s Included?’), as well as the range/ ranges of the included HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeter/ Phaser. Please see the table below for further information regarding the ranges of the HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers.

All of the above models can be used for the following applications:

• Measuring AC and DC voltages between phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase
• Conducting voltage measurements in metal-enclosed switchgear
• Verifying whether two conductors are in-phase or out-of-phase with each other
• Checking that a conductor is de-energised prior to grounding
• Can be used as part of discharging underground cables and other equipment with capacitive charges

All of the HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers can be used to inspect overhead lines and can be adapted to check underground systems via the addition of various probes. Furthermore, when used with an OPTIONAL cable fault tester, these instruments can be used to verify whether underground cables are defective.

The HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers are accurate to 3% of the full scale. Measurements are viewable via the HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers’ analogue display with an easy-to-read, 3-inch (7.6cm) meter-face and Lexan protective cover. To ensure ease-of-operation, as well as accuracy, the HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers include multiple scales in order to prevent the misreading of measurements.

The rugged design of these instruments also adds to their practicality and versatility as they can be used in a variety of worksites. Moreover, the low-maintenance design removes the need for batteries in order to power the unit, again improving the practicality as well as the convenience of the HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers.

As mentioned above, the HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeter/ Phaser Kits also vary in regards to the additional items included with each instrument. However, every kit includes overhead brass hook contact probes, and a universal spline designed to facilitate mounting the HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers onto hotsticks.

The HD Electric MARK Analogue Voltmeters/ Phasers are also supplied with a10kV-rated coil cord which is 3.5’/ 1.7m in length when retracted and 12’/ 3.6m when extended. Strain relief fittings are integrated into the end of the cords to reduce cable damage at points of high stress. It is also possible to order these kits with an OPTIONAL15kV-rated straight cord (up to 22’/ 6.7m in length) on a reel.
