HD Electric HD-WM-06 Watchman Work Area Voltage Detection Kits

These HD Electric HD-WM-06 Watchman Work Area Voltage Detection Kits can be used to give early warnings of energised conductors and electric fields. They are particularly useful for teams working on or near power lines and/or high voltage equipment.

Each kit includes six HD Electric Watchman Work Area Voltage Detectors and one small storage bag. These kits differ in regards to their mounting brackets; please see the table below for further details.

The HD Electric Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector’s powerful neodymium magnets facilitate its ability to be mounted on the included brackets (kit dependent), as well as any magnetic surface.

When the HD Electric Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector identifies an electric field or an energised conductor it will alert the user via spinning LED lights. The HD Electric Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector can also be used to identify a lack of active power in the area.

When actively searching for the presence of high voltage electric fields the HD Electric Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector will issue a ‘heartbeat’ pattern. The HD Electric Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector utilises WAVi (Work Area Voltage Indication) technology to identify energised conductors and strong electric fields surrounding high voltage conductors and power distribution equipment.

The HD Electric Watchman Work Area Voltage Detector’s functionality and battery power can be checked by holding down the power button as this will issue a self-test.
