The HD Electric DigiVolt-80 Digital Phasing Voltmeter is a two-stick, compact, high-precision digital voltmeter and phasing set. As a standalone instrument, it can be used to measure voltages from 50V to 40kV; when combined with HD Electric’s R-80 Add-on Resistors (Kits 2 and 3), this range is extended to 80kV.

HD Electric DigiVolt-80 Digital Phasing Voltmeter Description

The HD Electric DigiVolt-80 Digital Phasing Voltmeter’s two-stick design makes it suitable for measuring voltages on overhead and underground systems. It can be used to measure voltages up to 40kV between line-to-line and line-to-ground; this range may be extended to 80kV when the tester is used with add-on resistors.

Due to the inclusion of Phase Accurate Technology, the HD Electric DigiVolt-80 Digital Phasing Voltmeter can repeatedly and accurately measure voltages to within 1%. HD Electric’s DVM-80 Testers are the only digital high voltage meters to include Phase Accurate Technology.

This instrument is capable of measuring both AC and DC voltages and will measure DC through 1000Hz AC RMS. The HD Electric DigiVolt-80 Digital Phasing Voltmeter displays the true-RMS voltage on the conductor. It features an auto-ranging, 3.5-digit LCD; this display is backlit to ensure that it is easy-to-read in bright or dark conditions.

Also adding to the HD Electric DigiVolt-80 Digital Phasing Voltmeter’s ease-of-use is its lack of settings or range selector switch. It features integrated universal splines for the attachment of standard hotsticks, a Flush Mount ON switch for preventing field damage, and a coiled connecting cord. It is also supplied with two hook-style overhead brass probes, a carrying case and a 9V lithium/ alkaline battery. Battery life is preserved with the help of the HD Electric DigiVolt-80 Digital Phasing Voltmeter’s Auto Shut Off feature and low battery indicator.
