HD Electric CFT-35 Cable Fault Tester

The HD Electric CFT-35 Cable Fault Tester is designed for use with two-stick voltmeters and can be used to test the leakage current of underground primary voltage cables.

The HD Electric CFT-35 Cable Fault Tester is of 15kV, 25kV and 35kV Class. It can be used on grounded electrical systems with a maximum phase-to-ground voltage of 21kV. The HD Electric CFT-35 Cable Fault Tester should NOT be used on systems with a maximum line-to-ground voltage in excess of 21kV as this could damage the instrument and may provide erroneous results.

The HD Electric CFT-35 Cable Fault Tester is ideal for verifying the installation of underground voltage cable systems (when used with a phaser/ voltmeter) and is suitable for identifying faults in these systems, allowing the operator to affect the necessary repairs prior to energising.
