Hanna Instruments HI-9812-51 pH EC TDS Portable Temperature Meter

The Hanna HI-9812-51 is suitable for agriculture, greenhouse management, and hydroponics. The portable meter reads pH, EC (electrical conductivity), and TDS (total dissolved solids) temperature measurements. Its large LCD screen shows measurement data, on-screen tutorials, and the battery status.

The gel-filled HI-1285-51 multiparameter probe is included with the meter, eradicating the need for sensor swapping. The probe integrates pH, EC, TDS, and temperature sensors into a durable polypropylene body. A built-in amplifier on the pH circuit minimizes the impact of electrical noise.

The meter displays pH measurements to a 0.1 resolution with ±0.1 accuracy, EC and TDS readings to 10 µS/cm and 10 ppm resolution, respectively, with a 2% full-scale error and using an amperometric sensor for EC and TDS measurements. The device uses a fixed 2%/°C temperature correction factor. Calibrate with manual single-point adjustment for both pH and conductivity.
