The Guide TrackIR Handheld Thermal Monocular is an infrared-imaging camera designed for professional hunters. It is equipped with a 400 x 300px (at 17µm) thermal detector and a rapid refresh rate of 50Hz. This enables the capture of sharp, dynamic imaging throughout the field-of-view and allows hunters to see fast-moving game clearly at significant distances. Thermal Imaging
The Guide TrackIR Handheld Thermal Monocular includes a range of imaging features and functions, allowing the user to adapt the camera to suit various applications, conditions or environments:
- Smooth Zoom (1-4x): offers flexibility allowing the hunter to pinpoint wildlife quickly
- Stadiametric Rangefinder: measures and displays the distance to targets with a known height in real-time, e.g., rabbits (35cm), boar (90cm), and deer (150cm)
- Picture-in-Picture function: enlarge a specific area of the image without compromising the overall field of view
- Selectable colour palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot and Red Hot
- Multiple Scene modes: highlight the target by adjusting the image, choose from Enhance, Highlight, and Natural modes
Ergonomic & Easy-to-Use
Footage is displayed on the Guide TrackIR Handheld Thermal Monocular’s full-colour, 0.4-inch, 1280 x 960px HD display. Support for Wi-Fi means users can also view footage via a smartphone or tablet with the Guide App installed. Additionally, via this app, users can adjust the image quality, colour palettes, and smooth zoom.
When in the field, simple, intuitive buttons ensure that the Guide TrackIR Handheld Thermal Monocular is easy to operate even in complete darkness.
Rugged & Stealthy Design
As the Guide TrackIR Handheld Thermal Monocular is optimised for use outside, it is housed in a rugged, IP66-rated casing that has been drop-tested from 1m. It also features a standard Picatinny rail interface and supports the addition of various accessories, such as a laser rangefinder, lighting or power bank, allowing the user to adapt the monocular for security, night patrol, law enforcement, and search and rescue applications.
Moreover, to ensure suitability for covert operations, the Guide TrackIR Handheld Thermal Monocular features an anti-light leakage eyepiece, silent buttons and a work light that can be switched off. It also supports noiseless shutter calibration.
Finally, the Guide TrackIR Handheld Thermal Monocular is supplied with a large-capacity 6000mAh battery capable of providing approximately five hours of power. A USB Type-C and Micro HDMI connection enables faster charging and better transmission.
