GES Gastec MK5 FID Hydrocarbon Gas Detector

The Gastec MK5, a portable Flame Ionisation Detector (FID) also known as a Flame ioniser monitor (FIM), delivers exceptional performance in detecting hydrocarbon gases at low concentrations. It swiftly and reliably identifies gas leaks while providing traceable surveys through its built-in GPS and data logging features.

The GES Gastec MK5 sensor can detect minute levels of hydrocarbons, measuring from 1 to 10,000 ppm of methane in under 2 seconds. It's highly portable, allowing a shoulder-carry for easy positioning around valves and flanges. Plus, it swiftly identifies gas leaks, even from distribution pipes beneath main roads or highways.

Supplied with a refillable hydrogen cylinder (60 hours use), rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (22 hours use), angled probe assembly, multi-region mains charger, carry strap, quick start guide, user guide, filters and hard carry case.

The GES Gastec MK5 is available in eight different versions with 100ml/400ml full or empty cylinders in different languages, EU and EU/UK options.
