Druck PM620S-XXG Intrinsically Safe Gauge Pressure Module–16 Ranges

The Druck PM620S-XXG Intrinsically Safe Gauge Pressure Modules – Choice of 16 Ranges are ATEX and IECEx approved making them suitable for use with GE Druck’s DPI 620 Genii IS Intrinsically Safe Calibrator.

When used with this calibrator, the pressure module must be attached to either GE Druck’s MC620-IS Intrinsically Safe Pressure Module Carrier or a GE Druck PV62X-IS Intrinsically Safe Pressure Station. These additional components are then connected to the Druck DPI 620 Genii IS Intrinsically Safe Calibrator.

The simple, screw-fit design of these modules ensures that electrical and pressure connections can be established without the need for hand tight tools such as sealing tape, cables and plugs. Due to the inclusion of digital output sensor technology, the Druck DPI 620 IS Calibrator is able to automatically recognise the connected Druck PM620S-XXG Pressure Module, thereby removing the need for calibration and/or set-up of the instrument. This automatic recognition makes in-field pressure re-ranging quick and easy as it allows for interchangeability of these pressure modules thereby facilitating the user’s ability to tailor the Druck calibrator to a variety of applications.

Furthermore, each of these Druck PM620S-XXG Intrinsically Safe Gauge Pressure Modules can be calibrated independently of GE Druck’s DPI 620 IS Calibrator, thereby reducing the downtime of the instrument.

The Druck PM620S-XXG Intrinsically Safe Gauge Pressure Modules are available in sixteen variations which differ in regards to their ranges. As these modules are gauge pressure modules their ranges have been calculated in reference to atmospheric pressure. Conversely, GE Druck’s range of PM620S-XXA Absolute Pressure Modules feature ranges calculated in reference to vacuum (see below for further information).

These modules feature accuracies that range from 0.005% FS (full scale), for example 0.001 bar/0.015 psi error @ 20 bar/300 psi.
