The Druck DPI 620 Standard Genii Multifunction Calibrator improves upon its predecessor, the DPI 620, and as such includes a number of new features including:
The Druck DPI 620 Standard Genii Multifunction Calibrator is an easy-to-use calibrator. It can accommodate pressure modules which range from 25 mbar/10 inH2 O to 1,000 bar/15,000 psi. These modules can be used interchangeably.
Further to this, the Druck DPI 620 Standard Genii Multifunction Calibrator can produce up to 100 bar/ 1500 psi of pneumatic pressure and 1000 bar/ 15 000 psi of hydraulic pressure.
In addition to serving as a pressure calibrator and simulator, this instrument can also be used to measure, source and simulate electricity, frequency and temperature. The Druck DPI 620 Standard Genii Multifunction Calibrator is able to simulate device inputs and measure outputs at the same time and so can subsequently calculate errors between the inputs and outputs.
Up to six channels may be connected and data logged at any one time. In addition to logging data, the Druck DPI 620 Standard Genii Multifunction Calibrator can automate calibration procedures and record as found and as left results as well as store a complete plant database of procedures and results. The user is also able to view images, text files, spreadsheets and presentations on this instrument.
The inclusion of a HART communicator extends this product’s capabilities as it facilitates the transfer of configurations to a PC and ensures that the instrument always remains up to date as it is able to support the latest free of charge software and DD libraries. Further to this, the HART communicator makes the instrument capable of storing device configurations and allows the user to view, change, clone or create configurations whether online or off-line.
In terms of the Druck DPI 620 Standard Genii Multifunction Calibrator’s practicality, the HART communicator facilitates its ability to measure and source analogue variables without secondary calibration equipment; issues 24V or 28V during shut-down and provides a 250Ω resistor which is easily selectable from the menu.
The Druck DPI 620 Standard Genii Multifunction Calibrator is a cost-effective, rugged multi-functional instrument, able to perform a variety of tasks which previously required a fleet of different instruments.
The DPI 620 Genii is designed to seamlessly work with Druck pressure modules, pressure module carriers and pressure stations.
