Portability, Memory and PAT Testing Simplicity

Part of the PAT testing process will extremely often require you to get into areas that may be difficult. Whether it's under a table, behind a cabinet or anywhere else, having a portable PAT tester that you can take with you makes life much, much easier. The GammaPAT Pro is absolutely perfect for this purpose; it's a compact, lightweight tester that is easy to use for beginners and has all of the functionality needed by professional PAT testers.

The GammaPAT is available in two variations: Lite and Pro. The Pro model is a downloadable PAT tester which includes memory storage of testing records, meaning you don't have to jot everything down and can simply download information into a PC when you're done. It's also compatible with barcode scanners, allowing you to scan barcoded asset labels and enter information quickly.

For more control over the GammaPAT's functionality this tester is also compatible with an Android app and Bluetooth dongle which allows the tester to be controlled via a phone that uses an Android operating system (sold separately).

Testing with this PAT instrument is also incredibly simple; in fact the tester includes automatic sequences which will automatically configure the necessary tests for an equipped appliance. Simple and advanced user modes are also included, allowing those with different PAT testing knowledge to use the tester easily.

The tester can perform earth continuity, insulation resistance, substitute leakage current, functional/visual inspections, IEC cord polarity and voltage testing procedures. Results are shown both as full test readings on the LCD screen of the tester and also as PASS/FAIL indicators via the use of LED lights on either side of the backlit screen.
