When using the stainless steel probes bundled with this purchase you'll be able to put a contact on a wire conductor or pinpoint tests on a circuit or relay. When using the alligator clips you can get good ground on an engine, or connect to battery terminals.
The extra-long alligator clips can also grip the alternator BAT terminal or S terminals.
The set has been fully tested to 60V DC.
