Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Camera
The Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras are infrared imagers; they can be used to inspect equipment and systems to identify and locate small problems, such as failing components, before they become big issues. Identifying faults early allows the user to affect the necessary repairs limiting or eradicating downtime and reducing any expenses. These cameras, which are available in two models with different frame rates, are ideal for industrial professionals requiring a tool to identify potential issues quickly, safely and easily.
Both of the above IR imagers are equipped with an IR resolution of 640 x 480-pixels and include a LaserSharp™ Auto Focus consisting of a built-in laser distance meter which calculates and displays the distance to the specified target. Once calculated it will automatically adjust its focus to ensure the image captured presents the target in the greatest clarity. These cameras have a minimum focus distance of 15cm and a field-of-view of 34° (H) x 24° (V). Please see the video below for further information regarding the LaserSharp™ Auto Focus.
Smart Lenses
Further to this, the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras can be used with Fluke’s interchangeable Smart Lenses (NOT included) in order to adjust the IR imager to suit its surrounding environment. These lenses are automatically recognised by the imager and do not require calibration on attachment. Compatibility with Fluke’s Smart Lenses improves the versatility and expands the scope for use of these cameras.
The standard IR lenses supplied with the Fluke Ti401 PRO are constructed from 100% diamond-turned germanium and are covered with speciality coatings. These lenses ensure that the cameras include the best optics for transmitting energy to produce infrared images of the highest possible quality.
Display
Thermal images are indicated on the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras’ 3.5-inch (landscape) LCD displays. Via this display, the user can access a variety of features and functions allowing him/her to edit and analyse IR images on the camera and in real-time. He/she can implement colour alarms and markers, change the colour palette (nine colour palettes available in both standard and ultra-contrast versions), and edit the image’s emissivity. The thermographer can also engage and adjust the level of IR-Fusion™ blending.
IR-Fusion
Fluke’s patented IR-Fusion blending technology allows the user to combine thermal images with visual images to varying degrees. This allows the operator to create a thermal picture with all the relevant temperature data but with the details of a visible-light image. They can measure and indicate temperatures between -20°C and +650°C to an accuracy of ±2° / 2%.
Storage
Captured and edited images can be saved to the supplied 4GB microSD card. Further to this, as the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras are Fluke Connect-enabled, images can be saved to the Fluke Cloud. Additionally, media can be sent to the user’s smartphone or tablet with the Fluke Connect App installed. He/she can also edit and analyse images as well as create and export customisable reports via email using this app. Please see the video below for a quick introduction to Fluke Connect.
Fluke Connect
In addition to this, the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras are compatible with Fluke’s Fluke Connect SmartView Desktop Software (available for free download from Fluke). The user can operate the unit via a computer using this software as well as view IR data streamed from the camera. He/she can also organise captured images and measurements in relation to the corresponding piece of equipment.
Ergonomics
When operating in the field, the user can easily access the relevant settings and functions using one hand as a result of the thermal cameras’ practical, pistol-shaped designs. These rugged cameras are suitable for use in a variety of industrial environments.
The Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras are the entry models in Fluke’s series of Ti Pro Thermal Imaging Cameras. Nevertheless, they are ideal for industrial professionals requiring a troubleshooting tool able to capture exact temperatures and clear, sharp IR images.
