The Fluke 2384-P is a spare smart (INFO-CON) connector for use with the 1523 or 1524 Reference Thermometer. This connector is recommended for use with platinum resistance thermometers (PRTs).
Calibration coefficients for the PRT may be programmed directly into the dedicated connector using the 1523 or 1524, an RS-232 connection to a computer, and free software that comes with 1523/24.
When connected to the 1523 or 1524 the displayed temperature will be calculated from the unique thermocouple calibration coefficients stored in the connector.
